About Us
The Island Learning Initiative (ILI) is dedicated to implementing its mission with a strong focus on the rural and underserved disadvantaged sectors of Papua New Guinea. Our primary goal is to connect and provide financial resources to Pacific Island youth in Papua New Guinea, enabling them to receive a practical and useful education. We specifically target the rural and disadvantaged sectors, where students, teachers, and schools often face inadequate funding.
Papua New Guinea, being a developing country, grapples with various socio-economic challenges, including healthcare, education, law and order, and infrastructure. ILI Corporation is primarily centered on addressing education issues in these underserved areas. Our aim is to provide funding on a small-scale basis, specifically tailored to offer opportunities for students in these underserved or disadvantaged areas to improve their lives.
The funding we provide takes various forms, including scholarships, financial awards for educational materials and supplies, technology support, and a food program for students living below the poverty line. Our ultimate goal is to make a lasting difference and have a profound impact on the lives of these children.
