About Us
The Island Learning Initiative (ILI) is committed to its mission of supporting rural and underserved communities across the Pacific Islands. Our primary focus is to connect Pacific Island youth with the educational resources they need to access practical, quality education. We work specifically in disadvantaged areas where students, teachers, and schools often struggle with limited funding and resources.
Many Pacific Island nations face ongoing challenges as developing regions, including gaps in healthcare, education, law and order, and infrastructure. ILI is dedicated to addressing education-related needs in these communities by providing small-scale, targeted funding that creates meaningful opportunities and improves lives. This support takes many forms—scholarships, financial assistance for educational materials and supplies, technology support, and food programs for students living below the poverty line.
Our ultimate aim is to make a real, lasting difference in the lives of Pacific Island children. With the support of our friends and partners globally, we can work together to advance this mission and bring opportunity and hope to communities across the Pacific.
